Description

Les Chalets de Philippe comprises a small cluster of eight wooden chalets on a southfacing plateau, with spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding area. It is located in a quiet corner of the hamlet of Lavancher, a short drive from the centre of Chamonix.

Unlike anything else to be found in the French Alps the former shepherd’s huts and famer’s alpine chalets have been rescued by passionate Frenchman, Philippe, who has dedicated himself to their preservation and renovation.

His efforts extend beyond the buildings themselves, with a collection of alpine antique furniture spread through the various chalets, which is perfectly mixed with contemporary features such as flat screen TVs and Wi-Fi access throughout. There are also paintings from local alpine artists and Hermès toiletries in the unique bathrooms.

Spa services provided include two hammam, nine hot tubs, sauna and massage treatments. A chauffeur is available and cuisine is prepared in your chalet to Michelin starred standards. The chalets also have their own cinema for private screenings.

Philippe himself is also your host and never too busy to direct you to the best ski area in the Chamonix Valley for your needs.
