Chez Bear is located 5 minutes drive above the historic town of Briançon, part of the vast Serre Chevalier xalley ski region. The Ski Lodge offers a warm, friendly, relaxed, chalet-style atmosphere and provides the services you expect from a luxury private hotel or ski chalet.

Guests receive private airport transfers, and are welcomed with a champagne reception.
Lift passes are provided on arrival, and ski hire, guiding and lessons are available. A complimentary resort chauffeur in a 4×4 vehicle can take you to and from the slopes, or anywhere in the Serre Chevalier valley, and we provide complimentary piste-side ski storage.

Chez Bear’s decor reflects its long history including original stone work and larch beams. The chalet features a wood-burning oven, cinema screen complete with games console, sauna, log fire and it’s very own pub-style bar.

Chez Bear provides deliciously healthy, hearty and homemade dishes prepared with fresh ingredients that are sourced locally. Gluten-free, vegetarian and other dietary requirements are catered for with pleasure, and there are special children’s menus. These, and all other aspects of your stay, can be discussed and organised in advance when you book.
