A chic and luxuriously appointed, privately-owned chalet in snow-sure Zermatt, Chalet Zen is discreetly tucked away just 100m from the main Matterhorn glacier lift hub and piste. It is also only a short stroll to the centre of the village, making the chalet perfectly located for skiers and non-skiers alike.

Offering all the amenities of modern-day living, yet retaining the cosy, traditional feel of a home from home, Chalet Zen is all about old-school luxury, with antique furniture, rugs and paintings giving it a wonderfully established feel. Each of the four large, elegantly furnished bedrooms features its own en-suite marble bathroom with fluffy bathrobes, slippers and Jo Malone products; three have balconies looking up to the mighty Matterhorn. There is also a bunk room and fifth bathroom as part of a family suite, should your party be larger than eight guests.

In addition to a bubbling outdoor hot tub, the steam and massage rooms ensure guests are pampered post-piste. There are also two spacious living areas with fireplaces, a small study with computer and wireless broadband internet, flat-screen TVs with cable and satellite, an extensive library of books and DVDs, as well as toys for all ages (including toboggans).
